da prosport bet: After seeing him join Serie A giants Inter on a season-long loan, Manchester United fans may have thought they had seen the last of Alexis Sanchez.
da luck: The Chile international struggled big-time in his short career at Old Trafford, registering just five goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
But according to a report from ESPN, United are set to offer the forward another chance in the summer when he comes back from his loan spell at Inter. It claims that whilst they would be open to selling him, they will not be letting him go on the cheap.
And then, speaking in his pre-match press conference, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hinted that Sanchez would indeed be returning to Old Trafford, saying “Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong”.

After hearing about the update on the Chilean’s future, United fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the situation.
A couple of fans appeared to think that their club’s stance on Sanchez’s return is just an “excuse to spend less money in the summer”.
One fan in particular levelled heavy criticism at both Solskjaer and Ed Woodward in particular, at playing the fans.
This would be the ultimate sign of United not appearing to have a fully coherent, long-term plan. Having taken the decision to let Sanchez leave on a loan, even after sending Romelu Lukaku on his way, the Red Devils seemed to make it clear they were moving forward.

But, if he does make his return to the United first-team this summer, then it would show that the Red Devils are simply being reactionary. Could they not have made use of Sanchez this season if they felt they were going to need his services for the next campaign? It smacks of desperation because of their struggles in the transfer market, with the Manchester side yet to make a single signing this month. Their reported decision on the Chilean is quite simply bizarre.
Meanwhile, this struggling Manchester United player showed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he still has something to offer.
