da leao: Henrikh Mkhitaryan has refused to blame Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for his lack of game time at Old Trafford so far this season.
da 888casino: The Armenien arrived at the North-West outfit with high hopes following his £26m switch from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, but he has rarely been seen on the pitch.
After starting the Manchester derby in September, the winger was absent from the Premier League until late November due to a mixture of injuries and lack of form.
Mkhitaryan’s absence left some United fans scratching their heads, but Mourinho maintained that the 27-year-old was not ready to cope with the demands of the English game.
Now, though, the ex-Dortmund star is being given opportunities to impress, and he has done so having started three of United’s last four matches, including last Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park.
With the hectic festive schedule fast approaching, Mkhitaryan will hope to get some more minutes under his belt.
Some players in his position may sulk around, but the summer signing has opted to absolve Mourinho from blame, instead agreeing with his manager that he was not ready. He told Sky Sports News:
“There was no bad relation with [Mourinho], it was always good but the problem wasn’t him, it was me. Now I understand why I have got my chance and I will keep it, I will hold it, because it is very important for me to play, to be a part of Manchester United.
“I was thinking that I would be here as a starting line-up player but when I arrived I saw that there were 25 players fighting for their place and I understood that it wasn’t going to be easy.
“I had a bad game against Manchester City but that is in the past so I kept working. I have done a great job to get my chance back and I think I did it a really long way until I start playing.”
