da betcris: Celtic fans were understandably delighted after beating Rangers at the weekend as their plaudits were sent in the direction of one of their defenders.
da fezbet: Following a 2-0 win, in which Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes scored, praise was heaped upon Christopher Jullien.
The Hoops were good value for their win and looked a particular threat on the counter, although it was perhaps defensively that they impressed the most.
Jullien was playing in his first Old Firm derby, but didn’t appear to be overawed by the occasion as he was described as calmness personified.
A fellow fan called him an absolute juggernaut on Twitter whilst a further supporter suggested he was the next Virgil van Dijk. He was also labelled superb by another tweeter.
The former Toulouse man signed for £7m this summer as Celtic looked to bolster their defence.
Since arriving in Scotland, he’s played eight times, which included a goal against AIK in Europa League qualifying.
Following his display on Sunday, it looks as though he’s quickly become a fan favourite.
